Season starts in Lake Placid, New York

Finally! I have a blog! Now everyone can keep up to date with what's going on in my season, and once I work out how to put pics on here as well, you will be able to SEE what's happening too. I'm in Lake Placid, New York at the moment, doing some pre-season training on the ice here. The track has been kind enough to grant Lou (teammate), Peter (a dutch slider) and I access for the last 3 weeks. The sliding has been fantastic and we couldn't have asked for a better start to the season. I already have multiple personal bests on the track and am looking forward to alot more when we return to Lake Placid for the World Cup in November.

I have to make a special mention to David Scott and his snow.co.nz team for the incredible support they have given me. They are funding my season and allowing me to focus on my dream of qualifying for the Winter Olympics in Feb 2006. Thanks so much Dave!!
